Frequently-Asked Questions

What kind of services does Priority Health Care offer?

We offer a wide range of primary care services, both in-person and via telehealth. These services include annual physicals, management of chronic conditions, urgent care for non-emergency situations, preventive screenings, lifestyle education, and more.

What is telehealth?

Telehealth is a method of delivering healthcare services remotely using digital technology. It can involve video consultations, secure messaging, remote patient monitoring, and sharing of medical records.

How does a telehealth appointment work?

After you've scheduled a telehealth appointment, we'll send you a secure link. At the time of your appointment, you click the link to start a secure video call through Google Meets with your provider.

Are telehealth services as effective as in-person visits?

For many types of appointments, telehealth can be as effective as in-person visits. They're particularly useful for routine follow-ups, medication management, and minor urgent care. However, certain situations may still require an in-person visit. We offer both at Priority Health Care!

How do I know if I should book a telehealth appointment or come in-person?

When you contact our office to make an appointment (or schedule an appointment online), the Care Team will ask about your needs and help determine the best type of visit for you.

What should I do if I have a medical emergency?

In case of a medical emergency, please dial 911 or go to the nearest emergency room. Priority Health Care is not equipped to handle life-threatening emergencies.

Do you accept insurance?

Yes, we accept many major insurance plans, including Medicaid and Medicare. Please contact the Care Team to check whether we accept your specific health insurance.

For specifics about your coverage, it's best to contact your health insurance company directly.
